I work in the area and sometimes during lunch come to Broughton Fish bar for my dinner. The staff are very friendly, they greet you on when you enter and ask what you would like. It doesn't take long to get served and I've never had a bad experience. I would recommend this chippy to anyone.
First time here and not the last. Excellent food and very friendly staff. Don't take card but there is a spar shop/post office across the road to get cash.

Best Fish and Chips around. I can not even finish a small fish and chip special. The batter is crispy not soggy or tastes of oil. The fish is thick and always cooked to perfection. The staff are so pleasant, Kirsty is still there serving their delicious food, she quickly gets to know her regulars. We usually have fish and chips once a week, my husband does all the cooking and most of the household chores as well as caring for me and holding down a full time job. So once a week he has the night off cooking duty . What is not to like? x Full five
Just moved to the area and trying various food options around the area, nice to find a fish and chip shop open on a Monday night, ordered a large haddock, large chips and curry sauce, really nice it was cooked fresh and the fish was delicious, sweet and crispy batter, great portion size, we shared this between two of us and was plenty. The premises was extremely clean and after eating would not hesitate to recommend this place, will definitely visit again, thanks
We called in after a long journey and it was a very pleasant surprise to find such a nicely run chippy, very friendly staff, food was made fresh to order. Everything was steaming hot, fair prices and all round delicious. Will definitely be coming back if we are in the area again.
Lovely staff all fish orders cooked to order except Fridays. Easy parking very reasonable prices and you have your set specials. Recommended for all.
